How I get from idea to thing:
My Development Process
-
Initial Design
We'll start by identifying your high level goals, key features, and your target consumer. With this, we can leverage research, testing, and modeling to identify specific capabilities and limitations which will drive the initial design of your product. 3D renders will be used to flesh out the look and feel, and module testing will prove out concepts and resolve technical hurdles.
-
Iterative Prototyping
With Iterative Prototyping, we start with a goal of a "Functionally Adequate" prototype, which meets all the base requirements. This time focusing and cost saving measure enables quick results, enabling earliest possible consumer testing, which benefits all the subsequent iterations leading to the Consumer Ready prototype.
-
Finalization
As the testing phase of Iterative Prototyping closes, the focus shifts to mass production. We identify how each part may be easily manufactured, and engage with potential manufacturing partners to get early input to cost saving measures, lead times, and associated upfront costs. With this information, you'll be ready to push your product into the market with identified manufacturing partners, pricing requirements, and a timeline to support research into order and shipping logistics.
